Six Shooter: Six Shooter is an early maturing, dark orange carrot with excellent
tip fill and good, mild flavor. It features: improved color and length; excellent
uniformity; the ability to make size; and good field holding ability. It also
sports a smooth shoulder with good top attachment. Throw in intermediate resistance
to bolt, and you have a true performer adaptable to all Cello/Jumbo growing
areas.

Dyna Bites (HMX 0329): Introducing Harris Morans new Imperator carrot
for the cut & peel and slicer markets. Dyna Bites is a mid-season, medium
dark orange carrot with excellent flavor and texture quality. The 10-12 inch
tube-shaped carrot features uniform interiors (coreless). Dyna Bites has wide
adaptability to many products.

Maverick is a cello pack and jumbo imperator hybrid that provides excellent
quality, root color, uniformity, yield and tops. Maverick is showing extraordinary

North America. Its ability to make high quality, good yielding, durable roots
makes Maverick an excellent addition to the current cello product line.
Dillon, another cello and jumbo type hybrid, was also made commercially
available in 2004. Dillon has excellent quality traits producing roots with
good flavor, excellent color and large shoulder diameter.
TenderSnax is a carrot hybrid most suited for growers who are targeting
local markets, packet trade and gourmet customers. TenderSnax is very uniform
with excellent color resulting in attractive presentation, and possesses the
highest quality eating traits. Roots are consistently sweet and crisp,
combining to make an enjoyable flavor not matched in the market place. The root
appearance is extremely smooth and slightly tapered with fully blunted tips.
Length will vary on plant population but under normal stands will be about 6-7
inches long
(15-18 cm).
In addition to these varieties, Nunhems USA offers a full line of nantes hybrids
developed by its breeding program in Europe. In bunching nantes, the assortment
is the industry standard for Europe and includes Evora, Fortuna,
Finora and Damco. Fresh market nantes varieties include Laguna,

Sakatas new Trinity carrot is an excellent peeler that has shown
good results in year-round production. Trinity is an excellent yielder with
a good crown attachment.
It is 10 - 12 inches in length and 1/2 - 3/4 inch diameter making this perfect
for the cut and peel market. Trinity has good color, texture and flavor. To
top it all off, Trinity carrot outperformed all other carrot varieties in a
recent study conducted by the California Fresh Carrot Advisory Board to determine
factors that control or reduce sensitivity to root cracking.

Arrowhead is a medium orange tapered Imperator variety has excellent
taste and texture with good plant vigor. Arrowhead is in the Mid-Maturity class
and is 7-8 inches long and 1 1/4 - 1 1/2 inches in diameter with vigorous top
growth. If you are looking for a Jumbo/Cello type carrot, Arrowhead is an excellent
choice.

Prodigy: a Flakkee-type suitable for use as either a
dicer, sticks or as a jumbo fresh market carrot. It has a large crown with a
strong top attachment, good length and a blunt tip. Prodigy has a high yield
potential and good, uniform internal color with excellent flavor.
Tastypeel: a cut-and-peel variety with long (14-inch), cylindrical roots.
It has a pleasant texture and a sweet, light flavor. The root is strong with
an almost imperceptible core and a strong top and attachment. Its smooth exterior
requires less peeling.

Trigger: a cello/jumbo type for all fresh markets. Main season maturity
and excellent yields of high quality carrots. The roots are 9- to 10-inches
long, tapered to a blunt tip. They have a strong top and excellent color.

Recoleta: a Berlicum-type dicer with good length9 to 10 inchesthat
maintains better than a 2-inch shoulder. Its added length increases the yield.
Recoleta has a slightly tapered shape with a strong, blunt tip. Tops are strong
and the color is dark and uniform for good dicing.
Cellobunch: a cello/jumbo variety with early maturity and a medium-long root
that is very cylindrical with a blunt tip. Cellobunch bulks up early for a high
yield potential.

Bolero F1: Bolero has become the leading variety in the slicer markets
thanks to its long cylindrical shape and high-yield potential. Bolero is a mid-late
Nantes carrot with exceptionally strong foliage. It is consistently ranked as
the most tolerant carrot variety against Alternaria, and also demonstrates good
tolerance to Powdery Mildew, Xanthamonas, and Aster Yellows. Boleros strong
genetic vigor is a benefit from its quick emergence to harvest, making it a
well adapted variety to many growing conditions, even the most stressful. Bolero
is also well adapted for the fresh market and keeps well in cold storage.
Siroco F1: A new variety from Vilmorin targeted at the slicer market,
Siroco is a mid-late Nantes carrot with a long, slightly tapered cylindrical
shape and high-yield potential. Like Bolero, it has strong tolerance to Alternaria,
and has also shown very good tolerance against Aster Yellows. Its tall, vigorous
tops with strong attachment are well adapted to top lifting, and hold up well
to late season frosts. It has very good internal and external color with a small
core.
Tempo F1: An early maturing Nantes hybrid that is slotted for the early
harvest slicing market or for processors in short season areas. Provides good
early yield of 6 to 8 inch cylindrical roots that are very smooth, uniform,
with good internal and external color and a sweet flavor. Tempo is also well
suited to both the fresh and bunching markets.

Primo F1: This very early maturing Nantes carrot has 5 to 7 inch, slightly
conical roots that blunt at maturity. It develops its orange color and characteristic
sweetness at a very early stage, giving a larger harvest window of different
size carrots, from true babies to bunch nantes.
